Coding For Cause 2011

On Sunday, February 13, Florida DrupalCamp will again host a day-long sprint called Coding For a Cause. Drupalers of all experience levels get together and take different tasks towards completing the new site for that cause. We will have people involved in all areas of creating the site, from design to content creation to theming to developing custom code. Regardless of your skill level, there will be something for you to do to contribute and learn.

Last year, we worked on two sites, Junior Achievement-Orlando and GOMOTT - Greater Orlando Mothers of Twins and Triplets. The effort even led to a newly contributed module to the community, Conditional Webforms. This year, we're going to focus on one cause - the Central Florida Computer Society. CFCS is Central Florida's largest PC user group with over 150 members, ranging from novice to experienced. We'll be moving their site to Drupal from the collection of individually-built pages they have now. We will be building CFCS' new site in Drupal 7 so if you haven't had a chance to use the newest version of Drupal, this is a great opportunity.
