Bio: Demi Pietchell is an award-winning filmmaker with sixteen years of experience as an artist, writer, producer, director, media publicist, and special effects makeup artist. Demi is Founder of the video production company Hollow Clone Factory and Vice President of Client Strategies for Giant Concepts where she specializes in search engine optimization, social media management, and video production. With a fiscal sponsorship from the Independent Film Project (IFP), she is currently in post-production on her debut feature-length experimental documentary, 057 (2011), which explores the connection between trauma narrative and collective memory via ten years of mixed media documentation. Demi also has an extensive background in event production and currently serves as Special Events Director for the South Florida chapter of the Association for Women in Communications in addition to serving as Palm Beach County Chapter Chair for the international organization Social Media Club. Demi attended New York University, receiving both a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television and a Master’s degree in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from Tisch School of the Arts.
