Since 2005 Tobias has served as a vital member of Equality Florida’s staff. Equality Florida is Florida’s largest statewide human rights organization dedicated to the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, representing over 150,000 Floridians. Through education and advocacy, the organization is committed to building a state of equal rights for all Floridians, inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

In his current role as the New Media Manager, Tobias utilizes his unique mixture of traditional organizing principles and deep knowledge of new technologies to increase the organization’s reach.
